La Catrina - Yellow (Landscape)

The strongest and most recognizable symbol of The Day of the Dead celebrations, La Catrina. Her story goes deep into Mexican traditions and roots but has been restyled only in the last century. Women dress up during the celebration of the Mexican festival and this is shown by beautiful and elegant costumes. Image photographed in November 2021 in Oaxaca City for the Day of the Dead festival.
